We have found that the Larsen TT by Maxxis is the most popular racing tire with the cross country crowd. We have also known Maxxis to be the most dependable tire in downhill racing - we equip our bikes with only the finest, safest and most competitive products. The two tires weigh in at 1068 grams combined. You can use a lighter weight tire, but when it comes to tires and tubes (we also use heavy duty Maxxis Freeride tubes) you should go for dependability and safety over weight savings.
