Our in-house CNC machined "Strange" cranks are both lightweight (only 542 grams as shown), strong (made of 7076 T6 heat treated aluminum) but are also made specific for our bike to accept a single chain ring. Avoiding extra chainring spiders saves weight and allows us to focus more strength on just the single chain ring holder. Additionally, our chain ring "spider" is replaceable.
